 BESPOKE GARDEN ACCESSORIES – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. About Us

Bespoke Garden Accessories is a self‑employed, family‑run business specialising in handmade outdoor play equipment, sensory resources, and bespoke garden builds for schools, nurseries, and SEN settings. All items are made to order and delivered fully assembled unless stated otherwise.

2. Quotations

• Quotes are valid for 30 days.
• Prices may change if the school requests alterations.
• Discounts or promotional offers are applied at our discretion.
• Delivery and placement costs will be clearly stated.

3. Orders & Payments

• Orders are confirmed once full payment has been received.
• Payment is accepted via BACS bank transfer only.
• Work will not begin until payment has cleared.
• Bespoke Garden Accessories is not responsible for payments sent to incorrect accounts.

4. Lead Times

• All items are handmade to order.
• Lead times vary depending on workload and materials.
• Schools will be updated if lead times change.

5. Delivery, Placement & Access

• Delivery charges will be included on the quote or invoice.
• Items will be placed in the school’s desired areas, provided access is safe and reasonable.
• Schools must ensure clear access through gates, corridors, playgrounds, or other routes.
• Bespoke Garden Accessories is not responsible for delays caused by access restrictions or safeguarding delays.
• Acceptance of delivery confirms the items have been received in good condition.

6. Product Safety & Use

• All products are designed for supervised play.
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Schools are responsible for ongoing safety checks.
• Outdoor wooden products require regular maintenance.

7. Materials & Natural Variation

• Timber may contain knots, grain variations, minor cracks, or colour differences.
• These do not affect structural integrity and are not considered defects.
• Weathering and natural movement of timber is normal.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

• Orders cancelled within 48 hours of payment receive a full refund.
• After 48 hours, materials may have been purchased and work may have begun — refunds are not available.
• Custom or bespoke items are non‑refundable once production has started.

9. Changes to Orders

• Changes requested after production begins may incur additional charges.
• Changes may extend lead times.

10. No Warranty Provided

• Bespoke Garden Accessories does not offer a formal warranty.
• All items are supplied with reasonable care and skill and must be fit for purpose at the time of delivery.
• Ongoing maintenance is the responsibility of the school.
• However, we pride ourselves on good customer service. Repairs or replacements may be offered free of charge or at a discounted rate on a case‑by‑case basis.

No coverage is provided for:

• Weathering or natural timber movement
• Wear and tear
• Misuse
• Lack of maintenance
• Alterations made by the school
• Damage caused after delivery

11. Site Visits & Plans

• Site visits may be offered within a set radius.
• Plans or layouts will only be produced once the item list and quote have been agreed.
• Plans remain the property of Bespoke Garden Accessories until payment is received.

12. Liability

Bespoke Garden Accessories holds £5,000,000 Public & Product Liability Insurance with Allianz Insurance Plc (Policy Ref: AZBI5609971XB).

This covers accidental injury or damage caused:

• during delivery or placement
• by a defect in a product supplied

Bespoke Garden Accessories is not liable for:

• injuries caused by misuse or lack of supervision
• damage caused by extreme weather
• damage caused by school alterations
• wear and tear or lack of maintenance
• damage occurring after delivery
• delays caused by suppliers or access issues

13. Privacy & Data

School details are used only for invoicing, delivery, and communication. We do not share information with third parties.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with Bespoke Garden Accessories, the school agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
